Venus Embrace Sensitive!
I recently recieved the Venus Embrace sensitive razor free from Influenster to try and review. I have now had it about 2 weeks and I've used it a few times. I use it with some Eos shaving cream that I bought from Target. They work wonderfully together! I don't have a nic or a scratch anywhere and I have no bumps or redness afterwards either. It offers a really close shave, my legs are so smooth that I'm wearing shorts just so I can feel my own legs! So, all along... "it's not me, It's my razor!"

My TLC VoxBox
Yay!! I got another VoxBox full of free goodies from Influenster to try out!! So, in this Vox Box I got...A Shell Fuel Rewards Network Card, A Coupon for Free Breyers Gelato Indulgences, a pack of Puffs to Go with Lotion, Nesporin Neo To Go, Ivory Bar Soap and Avon Anew Reversalist Complete Renewal Express. So, I got some Pretty good products to try out.
So, the Shell Fuel rewards card seems OK... I've looked into it and used it once... really, not too impressed, cause I can save more with my Grocery cards to get up to $1off... so, I'll stick with my grocery rewards cards.
I went that day and picked up my Breyers Gelato Indulgences(as I'd been really wanting to try it) and I picked the triple chocolate... I even shared it with the hubby that night! And boy! Was it soooo good & Indulgent! Definately deserves that name! I can now see that $5-$6 price tag for such a small container... I can't wait to try the other flavors! At least the triple chocolate is the only flavor my hubby will touch... He hates coffee & cheesecake... hahaha! So, if I get those... it's all mine!
I was happy to get the Puffs to Go, as it is already a staple in my home! I use it all the time! I keep packs in my purse, diaper bag, car...they are just the perfect size! They are nice cause they are thick and soft, and have that little bit of lotion in them so they don't hurt the little noses.
I was also glad to get the Neo To Go, as I've used that previously before as well. It's a great little product. My daughters say it's "like magic" and "makes the pain disappear". It's great to have in the bag with a few bandaids, because I don't have to worry about infection if they hurt themselves while out & about. I also don't have to listen to them whine forever about the smallest little scrapes cause I have the "owie spray" Both the Puffs to Go and the Neo to Go live in my diaper bag!
I don't really use bar soap, I really like my body wash... but, I looked into Ivory bar soap and I was surprised to see all of the uses it has.So, I got to exploring and found a little experiment to do with my little girls, and they loved making "soap cupcakes"! I chopped off a few pieces of the Ivory and put them into cupcake liners and put the liners into little mugs... we then microwaved it for 20 seconds, and watched the magic happen! It was awesome! we all got a kick out of it! I then let them put a bit of food coloring on it to make them pretty! I'm excited to use the Ivory for more fun experiments! I have a whole pinterest board waiting for our explorations!
I used the Avon Anew Reversalist Complete Renewal Express the day after I got it... and it was nice. Nothing "wow worthy", but nice. It was a nice primer, and it felt good on my face. I didn't notice much of a difference on it's own, but I noticed that if I used it under my makeup, that my make up job looks better... also, I like the compact it came in. I would never spend the $30 price tag on it, either.
All & All I'm pretty satisfied with this Vox Box and can't wait to participate some more! I love this program and all my friends & family are very interested in it and really enjoy hearing about all the products I try!

Dr. Scholl's® For Her High Heel Insoles let me wear heels comfortably again!
So, another nice goody I got free from Influenster were my Dr. Scholls for her High Heel insoles! these are great because I haven't worn heels in forever, having to chase around a couple of kids all day & keeping busy doing "mommy stuff" especially toting around & wearing my 1 month old! but hey, I got these insoles and I put them in my cute little kitten heels & I get to wear my skirts & dresses again to church or lunch with the ladies in comfort! and still out & about with the kiddos & wearing my little one, too!! all day comfort, in my heels!! YAY!! Stylin' mama!
I love my Goody Ouchless Ribbon Elastics
So, I got the sunkissed voxbox filled with lovely goodies free from Influenster and by far the most useful thing I recieved in there has been my Goody ouchless ribbon elastics! I have been able to use them on my hair, on my 3 year old's hair & my 9 year old's hair. they hold our pony tails & buns perfectly, without falling out or coming loose & without hurting us coming out either! I really love that they have a nice shimmer to them too! and what you wouldn't guess somebody using them for, I use them as a breastfeeding reminder! Just put one on a wrist on the last side you breastfed as a nice reminder and it won't hurt babies skin when you are picking him up!! Genius!! love it!

Ivory® 2-IN-1 Hair & Body Wash Review....
So, I got some Ivory 2 in 1 Hair & Body wash free in the mail from Influenster last week and my daughters & I have been testing it out. I actually tried it 3 different ways. I also had my 9 year old try it in the shower & used it on my 4 year old in the bath, I think I just might try to use it as a bubble bath as well.
First, I used it on it's own, with no other conditioner, because it says it "has conditioners". I also had hair spray in my hair before I washed, and it did not feel clean until I washed it 2 times, which in my opinion defeats the 2 in 1 purpose. I did use my Argan Oil before I dried my hair with my hair dryer, though, as a heat protectant. I could brush through my hair easily after the Ivory & my Argan Oil. My hair basically seemed like it usually does after I've dried it, so I was pleasantly surprised, as I stay away from 2 in 1 products, knowing they can dry out your hair. I did use it on my body the first day too, and it did not irritate me and it has a great fresh, light scent and suds up well. My body felt very clean afterwards.
The 2nd day, I also used it on its own but I did not heat dry it & I did not use my Argan oil. I had hair spray in my hair this time before I washed as well, and once again it took 2 washes to get the hair spray out. I let my hair air dry. It was not as easy to brush through my wet hair this time, without the Argan oil but it wasn't too bad. My hair did seem to dry quicker than it normally does, which is a plus, but my hair did not feel as soft and did not look as shiny as it usually does with my normal products. I had some flyaways.
The 3rd day I used the Ivory on it's own and I had no hair spray in my hair, it only took 1 time to wash it, and it felt clean. Brushing through my hair was once again not as easy as with my usual products, but still not a chore. This time I decided to heat dry my hair, with out any other products, with having only washed with the Ivory. My hair dried pretty quickly, but there were many flyaways and lots of static... I had to use a product to tame the flyaways & static before I felt ok to start my day.
As I mentioned above, I also used the Ivory on my 4 & 9 year olds. With the 4 year old, it worked perfectly, she has super thin, baby hair, and her hair came clean and her body as well, and she smelled great! She really did like using it, she said " I smell so fresh". Afterwards, her hair dried naturally and it did not have so many flyaways. So, Ivory seems to work just fine for a hair & body wash for my 4 year old. When using Ivory 2 in 1 on my 9 year old, she really liked it too, she said that she feels really clean and really likes how it smells. My 9 year old has super thick hair, so she also used a separate conditioner, otherwise her hair is an absolute nightmare to brush. Her hair smelled great & was just fine to brush through & put up in a ponytail. We all felt it worked great on out bodies & we felt fresh & good smelling after taking a shower with the 2 in 1 from Ivory.
So, my final judgement on this is, I don't think I will buy it again, for myself as an every day shampoo. I really like it as a body wash, and as a shampoo/conditioner/body wash for my youngest. It works fine on my 9 year old as well, but with her thick hair, I really do prefer her regular brand on her. I really think this is a perfect product to take with you on a trip or camping, as you can easily pack the whole family's hair & body products with 1 bottle, which saves so much time & money. I love the fresh smell, it is not overwhelming, and it did not irritate any of our skin.
