Loving my new NYC New York Color Liquid Lipshine

So, one of my favorite products I got free in my Influenster Holiday Vox Box is my NYC New York Color liquid lipshine. I got the shade "Nude York City". This is a really nice shade, as it can easily be worn alone to create a nice, shiny shimmer on your lips, or you can pair it with your favorite lipstick to add some extra glam to your look, and if you have a particularly bright or dark color, this works well to take it down a bit. I was very pleasantly surprised to smell it as it was going on as well, it has a nice, light vanilla scent to it, that I really enjoy. This goes on super smooth, and I have not noticed any stickiness. I have seen it in many different stores(Target, WalMart, KMart, Rite Aid, Walgreens, grocery stores) from $2-$3, so it really doesn't even cost that much, so if you want you could easily get a few colors to compliment any look.

You can check out their products here: http://newyorkcolor.com/

And here are some pics with me wearing it & what the product looks like so if you do decide to go & find some, you know what to look for:

See, you can have an understated, pretty look

Got a set of "Kiss Nail Dress" fashion stickers free from influenster

So, I got some of the Kiss nail dress fashion stickers free in my Holiday VoxBox from Influenster. I have tried these before, and I wasn't impressed then, and  I really haven't become more impressed now. I regularly do my own nails, and nail art, and I have tried these & the Sally Hansen ones, by far I prefer the Sally Hansen ones to these, and actually just prefer to do my own, with my polish....

I got the "babydoll" design, and it was just a bit too much bling for me. It was also quite a bit darker than I would choose for myself.  I did look on their website and they looked like they might have a few designs on it that I would try, if I found it on sale or had a coupon, to just have around. I've seen these in Target, WalMart, KMart & Fred Meyers for about $6-$8 .It did not go on very smoothly, and as I have small fingers & nails, I had to do a lot of trimming to get them to fit, I even did them on my toes. It took quite a while to get a manicure "that you don't have to wait to dry"... it took so much time to get them to stick & the right size, on my fingers & toes that it didn't save me any time at all..Also, they are WAY too big for toes, although the package says that you can use them on your toes, I don't know anybody who has toenails that big! All in all, the finished design, looked fine, but I did not like the process, or how it felt on, also, they started snagging in like 2 days, and since they wouldn't smooth out, little fuzzies from my socks would get caught on my toes, and then things would get caught on my fingernails, too....

I got a Montagne Jeunesse Face Masque free from Influenster

So, another of my Free goodies I got in my holiday vox box from Influenster was the Montagne Jeunesse Chocolate Face Masque ( http://www.montagnejeunesse.com/face-masks/mud-face-mask/chocolate-mud-face-masque) to try out & give my opinion on. Montagne Jeunesse beauty treats are free of parabens, vegetarian approved and never tested on animals. Actually, I don't generally use these masks, really for no reason, other than I just don't think about buying & using masks...Well, I gotta say, after using this, I just might start to use masks, at least occasionally. It was kind of a fun process, and my little girls got a kick out of it. It was interesting to have my face smelling like chocolate, and as it hardened I could feel it work. It was a bit messy to get out of the packaging, and to get it on, but once it was on & dried, it came off very nicely. I asked my hubby & kids to feel my face to see if they noticed a difference, but they said no... I did notice a difference, in how my face felt to me. I thought it felt cleaner & softer. I have been on their website:http://www.montagnejeunesse.com/ to check out their other products, and I am really excited to try to find & use their Cream & Honey skin polisher :http://www.montagnejeunesse.com/face-masks/scrubs/cream-honey-skin-polisher. You can read up on it & get other people's opinions if you follow this link: http://www.influenster.com/review/montagne-jeunesse-face-masques.

Here is a picture of how my face masqe looked before I took it out of the package, so if you go try to find them, you know what to look for: You can usually find it at Walmart, Target, K-Mart, WalGreens or Rite Aid for under $2

I love my Goody Quick Style 1/2 round hair brush!

So, I was lucky enough to get picked to get a holiday VoxBox, full of Free goodies, from Influenster, to try out & give my opinion on, and I was not disappointed! By far, my favorite gift from influenster has been my Goody Quick Style 1/2 round hair brush! I have thin hair that really likes to hold onto moisture, so it takes FOREVER to dry it...like 20 or more minutes...and with 2 little girls to get ready in the morning and myself, I could use all the extra time I could get! So, I was ready to try this hair brush, excited even! It was the first thing I tried after getting my vox box, actually went & took a shower after opening it, so I could use it....I was not disappointed at all...worked really well at detangling my hair, and it dried in only 6 minutes! YAY!!! It is so very easy to get any hair out of it, too...just tap it on the counter, and it comes right out, and that resets the little microfiber cloths as well, and you can dry it with your hair dryer as well! I don't suggest leaving it wet under a counter or in a drawer, I keep mine on my hair care shelf, so if I didn't have time to dry it all the way, it can still air dry... Oh, and it is fine to hold, I have pretty small hands, so a lot of brushes are too big for my hands, but this is not. It is also a perfect shape to create a nice flip at the ends of my hair! If you're interested in this, I've seen it at WalMart, Target, & Fred Meyers, for about $11-$13.. well worth it, considering the time you will save!

So, if you wanna check it out, head on over to their page, here:http://www.goody.com/

My Holiday Vox Box

So, I recently got selected to get a holiday vox box free from Influenster, and I gotta tell you, I had to exercise some patience, because it took almost 2 months for me to get it after being told I would be! But when I got it, I was very happy, I got some good products to try out & tell the world about, so here ya go...here's my take on the products I have tried as of January 5th, 2013.... So, I got a little box, and it looked like this:
It came with: NYC New York Liquid Color Lipshine in the shade "nude york city"... I really do like this, it is a nice gloss to add to any color you've got or to just add some shine to your lips. The container is nice, easy to hold & use. Also, it has a pleasant vanilla cookie smell. This gloss goes on very smooth and has a subtle shimmer that I can see wearing any day to any occasion!
Kiss Nail Dress style KDS17: Well, this is a bit more bling, and a bit more "dark" than I would ever choose for myself, but hey, it was free, so I gave it a try. Honestly, I've got to say, I can do it better & quicker myself! I have quite small hands, and most of the sizes were too big & I had to cut them down to make them fit & then the filing just was not good for my natural nails. I also put them on my toes, and it took quite a while to get them on there & to fit, although the box says "for tips & toes". It does not feel smooth at all, like I would like it to, it feels like it snags on things, with so much bling, also, it wouldn't completely smooth out. I also prefer a more fun & colorful nail art on my nails, and this design is a bit gaudy for my taste. Also, I will get back to you on how long it lasts, says "up to 10 days"
Goody Quikstyle Brush, Half Round: I absolutely adore this brush, I can see using it every single time I go to dry my hair. My hair takes forever to dry, even though it is so thin, it just likes to hold onto moisture! It usually takes me from 15-20 minutes, AT LEAST to dry my hair, and then it's still a bit damp, and I had my hubby time me, and it only took me 6 minutes to get it dry with this brush... WOW!!! so, we'll be holding onto this!
Quaker Real Medley Oatmeal + in the "Peach Almond Oatmeal" flavor: I am glad I got this from Influenster to try, because now I know that I will not waste my money on this, well, at least not this flavor. I opted to make it the quick way & followed the directions on the package for the microwave, and I ended up having to double the time to get the constancy I liked. Also, once I bit into it, it was mostly tasteless, when I got the peach bites, I could taste those, and those were good, but it was just way too nutty, and not fruity enough for me, also, the oats still seemed undercooked. I also noticed that it left a funny taste/feeling in my mouth that I just really didn't like, and as I am pregnant, and took it with me on my way to my daughter's gymnastics class, I had to force myself to eat it. I might try one of the non-nut varieties though....
Montagne Jeunesse face masque in the Chocolate variety. This was a neat experience. I'm not big into the masques, because most are overpriced, and now that I used this, I noticed that they sell them everywhere, for like $1! It went on very easily, and dried as it said in the directions, and also, it rinsed super easily, with no residue left behind. I really enjoyed the chocolatey smell, as well. My 2 little girls got a kick of mommy "having a brown face", so that was fun too! After it was all off, I had them feel my face & kids & hubby said they didn't really feel a difference, but I did...I felt my face felt cleaner & softer...I just might pick a few up at the store to try some other ones, especially the honey one I saw on their website!
SoleSociety coupon for $25 off: I'm not sure I'll actually be able to use this, as the shoes all cost $50 or more, and currently I can't afford to really spend even the $25 on getting a new pair for myself, right after the holidays, I do spoil my girls! It would've been nice if they kept the coupon open for us for longer, as not everybody is able to just drop money on shoes any time they like...
EBOOST Natural energy packet in the Acai Pomegranate flavor.... So, this sounds good, I think I might like the flavor, but I have yet to try it yet, I will have to get back on this, because as I am 4 months pregnant, I am not sure if I can drink it, I have an appointment with my doc next week, so I'll ask her if it is ok, and get back to everybody....If I can, I plan on making a smoothie with it, if not, I'll make one for my hubby....and then get back to you on the results!
Well, that is my take on the products included in my 2012 Holiday Vox Box.... I got all of these products free from Influenster to try and to give my honest opinion on...also, here are some pics of some of the products actually on me, or used on me: 1st:Goody quickstyle 1/2 round brush (and my hair dryer) 2nd: NYC liquid lipshine 3rd: Kiss Nail dress on my fingers 4th: Kiss Nail dress on my toes
